AI Development and Prototyping - test before you invest.

Trial new tools. Run pilots. Test hypotheses. The Lab proves what works before it hits production.

Why prototyping comes before scaling.

The priciest AI projects are the ones scaled too soon. A tool that dazzles in a demo can fall flat in daily use - data quality, process complexity and user buy-in all get in the way.

The Lab builds prototypes: quick, focused tests using real data and real scenarios from your business. Can the chatbot handle your actual customer queries? Does the image model hit your brand standard? Does the automation save time, or just shift the bottleneck?

Only when a prototype earns its place do we talk scaling. That saves you budget, hassle and disappointment.

What we test in the Lab

Tool Evaluation

New AI tool on the market? We put it through its paces with your data and your requirements. No marketing demos, just real scenarios. You get a straight answer: worth switching or not.

Pilot Projects

Got an idea for AI in your business? We build a prototype in 2-4 weeks. Minimal, working, measurable. Enough to know whether a full build is worth it.

A/B Tests

Prompt A or prompt B. Model X or model Y. Workflow C or workflow D. We measure which one performs - based on data, not gut feel.

Proof of Concept

For bigger projects: a full proof-of-concept with documented requirements, working build and clear success criteria. The basis for a management decision.

01

Formulate hypothesis

What exactly do we want to find out? Which problem should be solved? We define measurable success criteria before we start.

02

Build prototype

Fast, focused, with real data. No overengineering - a Minimum Viable Prototype that answers the core question.

03

Measure & Evaluate

Does it work? How well? What does it cost? We document results transparently and give a clear recommendation: scale, adapt or discard.

04

Make decision

With data, not opinions. You decide based on facts whether the next step is worth it - and we take it if you want.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about development and prototyping

Usually 2 to 4 weeks. A prototype is intentionally minimal - it should answer one core question, not be a finished product. Enough to make an informed decision.

Depends on scope. A simple tool evaluation is in the low four-figure range, a full proof-of-concept in the mid range. You receive a fixed-price quote up front.

You decide. If the prototype convinces, we can scale directly - either as an implementation project through the AI Agency or as ongoing development in the Lab. If not, you have made an informed decision with minimal investment.

Yes. If you want to know whether a specific AI tool fits your use case, we test it with your data and deliver an honest assessment. No prototype, no big project required.

When possible yes - with anonymized or test data when needed. A prototype with synthetic data has little meaning. Naturally under NDA and GDPR-compliant.

The Audit analyzes and recommends. Prototyping builds and tests. Often the Audit is the first step, the prototype the second. But you can also start directly with a concrete idea.
