Who does mindmelt work best with?

What makes you different?

We notice things other people miss. Not because we're smarter - because we actually listen. What a company shows the world and what it really is rarely line up. Closing that gap is the job.


How did you get here?

Commercial training first, then sales, marketing and webmaster work. That's where it clicked: these disciplines only work when they talk to each other. A stint as marketing director at a software firm taught me the rest. Then I went freelance as a graphic and web designer. Today we work mostly with mid-market businesses, and a few names everyone recognises.


Over 20 years in. What has it taught you?

Success isn't luck. It comes from clarity, honesty and the nerve to try something new. You also learn to see the person behind the brand, on both sides of the table.


What keeps you in it?

The moment a client says: now people finally get us. Sounds simple. It isn't. That moment is why we do this.


What should clients expect?

Straight talk, full commitment, real results. Our clients know we don't pull standard solutions off the shelf. We listen, we dig in, and we carry the project with them.

Where is the industry heading?

Big traditional agencies will shrink. Production and routine work are getting automated, and clients can do more themselves with online tools and AI. The future belongs to small, sharp outfits that see the whole picture and stay close to the work and the client.


What makes you different from other consultants or agencies?

I'm in advertising, but not the old-school version. I understand people, systems and processes. I connect strategy, design and sales with the technical side. Clients feel that we actually want to move the needle.


You talk about taking responsibility. What does that look like in practice?

We don't wait to be briefed on every detail. We think through the things a client shouldn't have to - technically, strategically, commercially. Then we stand behind it with our name and the results.


Sales has a bad name. Pushing people into things they don't want. How do you see it?

For a long time I thought sales had to be flashy or follow a rigid playbook. Then it clicked: the real wins come when you're genuinely there for the person across the table. Not from duty, not from calculation. From actually enjoying putting people and companies in front of the right audience. That shift changed the work. Clients pick up on it, and everything else follows.


What do you enjoy most about the work?

Watching a rough idea become something sharp and real - something that works for the client and lands with their audience. Seeing it make a difference, and show up in the numbers.
